先后到北京,上海、天津、河北、山东、山西、陕西、河南、湖北、新疆、广东、广西、海南等省市党政机关、企事业单位、老少边区、大中小学校、街道和居民小区、进行书画创作,展览、公益讲座、文化扶贫和慈善拍卖活动,达80多次,义捐价值一千多万元书画作品,得到人民群众的认可和称赞。
He has been to Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan, Hubei, Xinjiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan and other provinces and cities, such as party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, old and young border areas, large, medium and small schools, streets and residential areas, and has carried out painting and calligraphy creation, exhibitions, public welfare lectures, cultural poverty alleviation and charity auctions for more than 80 times, and donated more than 10 million yuan worth of paintings and calligraphy works.

童心田先生的书法作品,承古开新。他在系统研究中国文学史,中国哲学史和中国书法史的基础上,创始了童式书法,得到了国家版权保护中心的批复和专利保护,作品镌刻在长城八达岭上,被国家邮政局多次印成邮票公开发行,被国家外交部宣传机构聘请为国礼书法家。
Tong Xintian's calligraphy works inherit the past and create new ones. On the basis of systematically studying the history of Chinese literature, Chinese philosophy and Chinese calligraphy, he initiated children's calligraphy, which was approved by the National Copyright Protection Center and protected by patents. His works were engraved on Badaling of the Great Wall, printed as stamps by the State Post Bureau for public distribution, and hired by the propaganda organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a national calligrapher.

Tong Xintian has served as a reporter of Xinhua News Agency, editor of People's Liberation Army Daily, editor-in-chief of People's Armed Police Daily and editor-in-chief of National Painting and Calligraphy Observation. He is currently the vice chairman of China Calligraphers Association, the chairman of China Boao Calligraphers Association, and the artistic director of International Celebrity Encyclopedia.
